The Genuine GP canteen Pouch was issued as standard gear and has been a great all around pouch. Made from a durable Cordura nylon it is made to carry a 1 quart GI Canteen but is used to carry any other small accessories including magazines. The back is designed with MOLLE webbing to connect to your other MOLLE or PALS gear or backpacks. There is an adjustable cover with a quick-release buckle and elastic drawstring to keeps everything inside. The 2 small exterior pockets on the side were made for water purification tablets but come in handy for anything you need. A great all-purpose pouch.

Surplus is real military gear, and the exact conditions may vary.  We grade used military surplus to give you options and offer a clearer description. Military gear was built well and used by soldiers proving its tested quality.  We hope you find that it serves you well. 

Grade 1 Like New:  Out of the factory case or may have only minor signs of use or storage marks. 

Grade 2 Used: What we call normal used surplus. The gear is fully usable and shows normal signs of use with a lot of life left. Some items may have stains, writing, color fading, repairs, worn pullstring and or surface rust on them.  We find that up to a small 1/4” hole or frays does not repair well and do not affect the gears performance.
